My wife and I recently celebrated my birthday at Gabriella's. What a treat. The staff as usual is so friendly and welcoming. The view of the harbor is beautiful and Gloria at the door and Dixon our waiter always make the experience special. Yes, indeed...the seafood is fabulous; but, after OD-ing on fresh snapper, dorado and tuna, we love getting to Gabriella's for some red meat--and their hamburger is great by any standard. The background here is that for some years any beef we could find in the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area was atrocious. (I swear: a sirloin I had a few years ago could have stopped a fully jacketed NATO round.) So finding a place that served edible beef was terrific. We always make a point of stopping in whenever we're in town. More
